Caribbean Front Desk is a dynamic and innovative player in the burgeoning health and wellness tourism sector. Based in the stunning landscape of Jamaica, we are on a mission to revolutionize the tourism industry by offering a unique fusion of wellness activities. Medical procedures through internationally accredited health facilities will eventually be added.
Caribbean Front Desk is a web-based platform facilitating the booking of wellness excursions and medical procedures. In addition, our third-party technology and patient portal can facilitate the secure transfer of medical records, allow secure interactions with medical and wellness practitioners, and enable virtual consultations.
Caribbean Front Desk is the first health and wellness company licensed by the Jamaica Tourist Board as a local tour operator. Additionally, the company is the winner of the 2023 Tourism Enhancement Fund Innovation Incubator and a nominee for Innovation in Health and Wellness Tourism at the 2024 Excellence in Health and Wellness Tourism Awards.
Our Leadership
Dr. Duane Chambers is a consultant radiologist and health and wellness tourism entrepreneur with a passion for medicine and well, the beach. He believes in the medicine provided by the healing properties of the sun, sea and sand, natural landscapes and waterbodies just as much as he believes in traditional medicine and so he decided to combine both, starting his journey in the land he calls home, Jamaica. With over two decades of experience and studies which have taken him around the world, Dr. Chambers is a general as well as cardiac radiologist with board certification in cardiac CT and MRI. He is not only the founder of Caribbean Front Desk but also Imaging and Intervention Associates, a successful private radiology practice in Kingston with upcoming branches. With interests in tourism, he is also a certified Medical Travel Professional certified through Global Health Accreditation based in the United States and works very closely with the Tourism Enhancement Fund based at home in Jamaica.
